Sacramento is the site of many well known fashion events, PR firms and fashion outlets. Sacramento Fashion Week is an event being held by two of Sacramento\’s most renowned fashion PR companies, Couture Connection and Magnum Opus. The event brings together fashion designers, models, photographers, ad agencies, and makeup and hair stylists in the entertainment, fashion, and beauty industry, providing an opportunity for participants to expand their exposure in the fashion industry.

Sacramento features more than 350 fashion related businesses that include companies that feature various styles of clothes, makeup, handbags, hats, and many other accessories. Sacramento is also the location of Sacramento Design School, where students can earn a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. There are also more than ten fashion designers located directly within the city of Sacramento itself, reinforcing the importance of the fashion industry here.

Pure Fashion is a nationwide program that is also located in Sacramento. It is a faith based program that encourages teens to dress, live, and act with dignity and in accordance to their faith. They feature clothing that is pretty but unprovocative, as well as tasteful and trendy.

One of the oldest and most well known clothing stores in Sacramento is Julius Clothing. They have been providing fashionable looks to the Sacramento community for more than 85 years featuring outfits from designers such as Ermenegildo Zegna, John Varvatos, Donna Karan, and Michael Kors.

Fashion in Sacramento is a thriving industry, and is a big part of why California is considered one of the fashion capitals of the world.
